LACOSTE's Sporty Chic Sunwear Cruises Through The Greek Isles And Around The World's Best Beaches

Singapore, March 18, 2010 - For Spring/Summer 2010, LACOSTE takes you on an exclusive cruise thru the Greek Isles and then around the best beaches of the world to discover its sporty and sophisticated line of sunwear. This collection for men and women offers a contemporary twist on vintage silhouettes and promises innovative use of colour blocking, enamel inlays and the stripes and lines that evoke the codes of the LACOSTE brand heritage.

The Greek islands float at the crossroads of cultures, colours and civilizations, where you experience true timelessness and relaxed elegance. It is fitting that these islands lend their noble names to a range of frames that attract as well as they protect. SAMOS features an oversized design with a slight wrap-around effect. The temple has an embossed crocodile logo on a metal plate that connects the temple to the frame and is available in black, grey, red, tortoise and white. TINOS and KEROS play with laminated stripes and mix colours that pop from inside the frames. TINOS has a more rounded shape, while KEROS is the squarer version. Both have a metallic logo embossed on a cloisonne inlay at the temple. KEROS comes in black, brown, demi brown, purple and red, while TINOS is available in black, blue, purple, red, tortoise and white. THASOS rounds out the women's Greek theme and showcases the LACOSTE logo in an original round letter motif in silver metal on a cloisonne inlay that links the frames to the temples. It comes in beige, black, brown, dark brown and red.

The Greek theme continues for men with IOS and KARPATHOS, both sporty casual styles in tonic colours with the LACOSTE logo inlaid in letters at the temple. IOS features contrast-coloured piping around the frames and on the edges of the temples, which creates a translucent effect in black, brown, grey and tortoise. KARPATHOS has an oversized bridge holding its lenses in place and a dual stripe on its thin two-tone temples. It is available in black, dark brown, green, red and white.

LACOSTE has you covered as you move from sea to shore this season, with its fresh and fun Beach theme. BAHAMASand BERMUDA use colour blocks that extend from their wide temples into the frames for a sharp graphic effect. BAHAMAS has a slightly more rectangular shape and comes in demi brown, navy, black and green. BERMUDA's larger-than-life frames are red-carpet ready in black, demi brown, dark brown, grey and white. SOUTH BEACH is a rounder and chunkier option for combing the beach by day or night and comes in tortoise, white and black.

The beach theme finishes with two men's styles. BARBADOS and BALI too rely on colour blocking details to give their classic styles a directional flavour. BARBADOS has a colour pop that extends from the temple into the frame and is available in black, green, havana, navy and white. BALI has a mask with contrast colour pop frames outlined in a darker piping that matches the inside of its temples. It comes in black/crystal, black/red, blue/blue crystal and grey/white.
